Alofa!!!

Talofa to you all. Thank you for clicking this far. My name is Rosina and I am taking part in the Heart Foundation MyMarathon this year. I am dedicating my marathon to my late grandfather Tagaloa Michael Godinet who passed away from a heart attack. Though this is also in remembrance of all our families and friends we've lost to heart diseases and in support of our loved ones who currently battle heart conditions every day. 

I aim to run and walk the 42kms (and more) that I have set for the month of May. I hope that it will encourage others to take time to move and get the heart pumping. 

They say the heart is the strongest muscle, and I do not disagree. From there springs love, hope, kindness and so much more. We also cannot function without it, so perhaps now is the time to look after it... and not wait until it is too late.

Heart disease is the single biggest killer in New Zealand, and I want to do something to support the thousands of Kiwis whose lives are impacted by this disease every single day.
