Support my challenge to save Kiwi hearts
This May, I’m taking part in MyMarathon to raise funds for life-saving heart research—and I’m doing it in memory of my uncle, Arthur Gabriel.
Arthur (Sleek) was a truly special man. We shared a close bond and sense of humour. Although he passed away in 1999, his presence has stayed with me ever since—and whenever I remember his smile, I feel comforted and close to him again.
I'm jogging 42 km over the month to honour his memory and to raise funds for those affected by heart disease.
Every 90 minutes, a Kiwi loses their life to heart disease. By supporting this cause, we can help change that through better research, prevention, and care.
